Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a three thousand year-old medical practice that restores proper circulation and function to the body.
The circulatory system is similar in both Chinese & Western medicine.
In Chinese Medicine the meridians, also known as channels or vessels, carry blood, oxygen and nutrients to all of the organs, tissues and cells of the body. They follow specific pathways, and are connected end to end so they form one big loop.
In health, there should be free and easy circulation. Anytime there is a blockage, your body isn’t getting what it needs, and now you have “illness”.
The insertion of very small needles at specific points along the body’s meridians re-establishes free and easy circulation in the body.
By restoring the proper flow of blood, oxygen, and nutrients to your cells, acupuncture can help you improve your fertility and treat reproductive health issues. It can also provide pain relief, help with stress management, and increase energy.
“Leslie has been such an invaluable partner in my fertility process. Working with her brought my stress level down several notches. She helps interpret info from my other doctors, and serves as a bridge so that I feel like I’m not the only one holding all of the information. She’s been a resource and a comfort. I’m so glad I found her!”
