Leslie Oldershaw is a licensed acupuncturist, providing comprehensive care integrating Eastern and Western medicine to best serve the needs of her patients.
Having studied health and nutrition for over 30 years, Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1987 from the University of California at Berkeley, and her Master’s degree in 1993 from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, with advanced training in women’s health and fertility. Leslie is a fellow of the Acupuncture Board of Reproductive Medicine.
Leslie offers a blend of integrative medicine that consists of the holistic system of traditional Chinese medicine combined with modern Western medical science and functional medicine, bringing the best of both worlds together for her patients.
Over the last 25 plus years, Leslie has cultivated expertise in a wide range of women’s health issues including: fertility, thyroid dysfunction, digestive health, autoimmune diseases, and pain management.
A prolific writer and engaging public speaker, Leslie’s passion for teaching has inspired her to write numerous articles on the topics of women’s health and fertility, and she frequently lectures on these subjects. In 1995 she established The Oldershaw Clinic in Oakland/Piedmont, California, where she continues to lead a dynamic team of practitioners in providing integrative women’s health and fertility care.
In her free time, Leslie enjoys reading, movies, travel, and long leisurely walks.
