The Chinese New Year – or the Lunar New Year as the Chinese like to call it – starts on the second New Moon after the winter solstice, sometime between the last days of January and the middle of February.
2019 is the year of the Yin Earth Pig, and is predicted to be full of joy, a year of friendship and love for all the zodiac signs, and an auspicious year because the Pig attracts success in all the spheres of life.
